Am I gay? Yes? Then of course I'm a biphobe. What a silly question!
Brenda writes: Why does being gay mean you're a biphobe?
Gosh, I guess this means I get to lay it all out for you. Well, it's
like this: people who claim to be homosexual have bought into the
ridiculous notion that all people fit neatly into little "boxes".
And they've done this consciously, with malice towards bisexual
outlaws aforethought. You see, this notion that sexuality can be
labelled is the wellspring of homophobic oppression (after all, if
no one claimed to be homosexual, then no one would try to oppress
them!). Worse than that, of course, is the fact that openly
expressed homosexuality keeps bisexuals, especially bisexual men, in
the closet. In fact, that's precisely why gay men loudly proclaim
they're gay: they hate bisexual men and want to cause them
as much psychic pain as possible! If only gay people would open
themselves up to the richness of interpersonal relationships that is
so uniquely bisexual then the world would be one huge Garden of
Eden. But they won't, because in their twisted way homosexuals revel
in their pathetically stunted monosexuality.
