It seems unreal to me, although it's not the first or the last time that we'll experience such a loss. It never becomes a familiar experience. I learned a lot from Rob reading his correspondence to this group, and he has been a teacher to (to me) above all.
I regret never having met him in person, and recognize the need to
make a more concerted effort to make friends with the those on
soc.motss whose posts I so much enjoy and respect.
