I put them back this week, David. I suppose that's flouting Rob's request to pull them earlier this year, but I thought that these would be additional memorials, since they capture him in all his Rob-ery. I didn't want to leave motss without his pictures; words and memory can only do so much.
Just look at rob_bernardo.and.oriana.gif, which is a magnificent picture. It was submitted to me -- I don't recall who snapped it and scanned it, but it's not only technically wonderful, it's also the quintessential Rob, kissing his horse, Oriana.
Before I left for work today, I rummaged through my pile of
photographs for those of Rob; I'm going to rescan a few now that I
have equipment which will do him justice.
