Yesterday, for-I-forget-what-reason, I was sifting through my very arbitrary cache of old soc.motss postings. Very nostalgic, many of these articles I hadn't read since they were posted up to three years ago.
I found surprisingly little by Rob, but I did find this article by Ms. Spadix. It's tone is a little too jocular for how I feel right now, but it was still good for memories.

Rob Boldbear wrote: Any takers? I have a beautiful remodeled country kitchen and a gorgeous new backyard lawn. :-)
Bob Donahue writes: Gee, not to mention your own horse who is a motss luminary in her own right! :-)
It's hard to blush when you're bay.
I remember when Rob first asked me if I'd like to post to motss, I asked "Is the riding so rough on motss that you have to post to stay on?" And he replied, "Yes, many motssketeers have the trots. You know, verbal diarrhea."
Melinda, I've been meaning to ask. Is your horse a mare? Now if just Rob were a lesbian ... >nicker< >nicker<
Rod Williams asks Rob: And how are you managing to maintain that nice new lawn under Kontra Kosta Kounty's water restrictions? E-hugs to Oriana...
KKK rationing came to an end and I must say that lawn looks mighty lush-ous! >nicker< >nicker< But that boy's crazy! He planted this huge vegetable garden and NO CARROTS!!!! Tomatoes (Two whole rows: Who's going to eat them all!?!?), peppers, jalapeños, watermelon, honeydew, corn, squash, cucumber and eggplant but not one single carrot plant.
Aneighway :-), he's been working hard on the yard and will soon reschedule the postponed ba.motss party -- probably sometime in mid or late August. I guess I'll see many of you there. >nicker<
